Citizens Action Coalition is Indiana's oldest and largest consumer and environmental rights organization. THis group was fromed to protect consumers during the energy crisis of the early 70's. It is dedicated to protecting ratepayers and has increased its scope to include affordable health care, family farm issues and a clean environment. Telephone Lifeline &

Link-Up Assistance Programs

These Programs provide discounts to those in need of basic local telephone services. This federal-state partnership allows telephone customers who are eligible to receive discounts on basic telephone services and on instillation charges. Call the Indiana Utility Regularatory Commission's Consumer Affairs Division at 1-800-851-4268 or visit the Office of Utility Consumer Counselor's website at http://www.in.gov/oucc/2383.htm to see if you are eligible and to learn how to apply.
