As your Representative in the U. S. Congress, I pledge that I will work to win Congressional
action to Fix Part D and make it a real Medicare benefit that serves seniors and persons
with disabilities first, rather than the interests of the drug companies and the insurance
companies. Specifically, I will work for legislation which will:

Reduce the cost of prescription drugs by:

Requiring Medicare to negotiate lower prices from drug companies, just as
the Veterans Administration does for veterans.

Guaranteeing our right to safely import medicines from licensed pharmacies
in Canada and the European Union (just like drug companies do).

Use the savings to provide a comprehensive, stable benefit - with NO DONUT HOLE!

Give seniors the choice they prefer: to obtain prescription drug coverage
directly from Medicare - instead of from private insurance companies !!!

Extend the enrollment time and eliminate the penalty until Part D is fixed!
